We read with great interest the recently published study by Mor et al. [1], on outpatient and community antibiotic use among adults in five European countries. This study contributes to the understanding of patterns of outpatient antibiotic use across Europe by reporting data on age-group-specific use and by providing age- and sex-standardized measures of antibiotic utilization per country. …
