Zusammenfassung

Die frontotemporale Demenz wird im Vergleich zur „Alzheimer-Erkrankung“ in der Bevölkerung kaum wahrgenommen. Sie macht jedoch immerhin etwa 20 % der Demenzen bei Patienten unter 65 Jahren aus und ist auf diesem Gebiet die zweithäufigste Diagnose [1].
