Zusammenfassung

Der interventionelle Vorhofohrverschluss gewinnt als Alternative zur oralen Antikoagulation zur Schlaganfallprophylaxe bei Patienten mit Vorhofflimmern zunehmend an Bedeutung. Mittlerweise gibt es mehrere endokardiale Systeme sowie eines für den epikardialen Vorhofohrverschluss. Diese Arbeit stellt die aktuelle Datenlage für die derzeit verfügbaren Vorhofohr-Verschlusssysteme hinsichtlich Indikationsstellung, Wirksamkeit der Schlaganfallprophylaxe und Prozedursicherheit vor und diskutiert das postprozedurale Antikoagulationsmanagment.
