Zusammenfassung

Lymphatische Malformationen sind angeborene Fehlbildungen des Lymphgefäßsystems und treten bevorzugt im Kopf-Hals-Bereich auf. Sie werden aufgrund ihrer dominierenden klinischen und morphologischen Eigenschaften in mikro- bzw. makrozystische Formen eingeteilt. Die etablierte Therapie von lymphatischen Malformationen im Kopf-Hals-Bereich beinhaltet die konventionelle Chirurgie, die Sklerosierung sowie die Laserbehandlung. Trotz der deutlich verbesserten therapeutischen Optionen bleibt die Behandlung von ausgedehnten lymphatischen Malformationen eine interdisziplinäre Herausforderung. Nur durch die enge und interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit können Betroffene optimal betreut werden.
