Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Die operative Gynäkologie hat sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten exponentiell weiterentwickelt. Die Möglichkeiten sowie auch die Anforderungen an den behandelnden Arzt werden immer komplexer.

Fragestellung

Der Beitrag fokussiert die Prinzipien der modernen operativen Gynäkologie und geht auf die Position der operativen Gynäkologie im Spannungsfeld der modernen Medizin ein.

Ergebnisse und Diskussion

Die zur Verfügung stehenden Operationstechniken müssen weiter durch ein intensiveres und breiteres operatives Training im Rahmen der Facharztweiterbildung und im Rahmen der operativen Spezialisierung verbessert werden. Die gesamte operative Gynäkologie muss darüber hinaus kontinuierlich in multimodale therapeutische Konzepte integriert werden. Sowohl das diagnostische als auch das operative Trauma müssen zum Wohl der Patientinnen weiter reduziert werden.
