Schwangerschaft nach onkologischen Erkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Aufgrund der soziokulturellen Veränderungen mit später Familienplanung und verbesserten onkologischen Therapien werden Onkologen, Gynäkologen und Geburtshelfer zunehmend mit der Thematik Kinderwunsch nach onkologischer Therapie konfrontiert. Retrospektive Studien konnten zeigen, dass eine Schwangerschaft generell keinen ungünstigen Einfluss auf die Prognose und das Rezidivrisiko einer Krebserkrankung nach abgeschlossener onkologischer Therapie hat. Auch das Risiko fetaler Malformationen und teratogener Einflüsse nach abgeschlossener Chemotherapie, Strahlentherapie oder endokriner Therapie ist gegenüber dem Normalkollektiv nicht erhöht. Das Thema Kinderwunsch muss individuell mit der Patientin diskutiert werden und entsprechend Tumorentität, Tumorstadium und Tumorcharakteristiken beleuchtet werden.
