Zusammenhang zwischen metabolischen Erkrankungen, Hypertonie und Gonarthrose

Zusammenfassung

In dem Beitrag wird eine Übersicht über den Zusammenhang zwischen metabolischen Erkrankungen, Hypertonie und Gonarthrose gegeben, die auf einer Medline-Recherche und anderen Übersichtsartikeln basiert. Laut dieser Übersichtsarbeit sind unter bestimmten Bedingungen die Gicht sowie die Akromegalie als Ursachenfaktoren für die Entwicklung einer Gonarthrose anzusehen. Dies ist bei den übrigen metabolischen Erkrankungen (Chondrokalzinose, Ablagerungen von Hydroxylapatit, Ochronose, hereditäre Hämochromatose, Hypothyreose, Hyperthyreose, Hyperparathyreoidismus, Diabetes mellitus, Rachitis, Hypercholesterinämie sowie der Hypertonie) nicht der Fall.
