Abstract
The purpose of this article is to illustrate the accuracy of a digitally planned 3D-printed guide for an apicoectomy procedure. A three-dimensional image was acquired of the patient’s teeth using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). In utilizing open source software, an intraoral scan of the patient is combined with the CBCT image to design a surgical guide for an apicoectomy procedure. The surgical guide was 3D-printed and utilized for surgical apicoectomy accuracy.
