Every year in France, about 75,000 occupational accidents are reported among farm workers, of which 150 are fatal [1, 2]. One third of these deaths involve machines and usually result from crushing injuries. However, decapitations resulting from occupational accidents in the agricultural setting appear to be rare events. …
