Paraurethral cysts and calculi forming within them are rare. They can be congenital or acquired. Das’s criteria [
1] classified paraurethral cysts into four groups: epithelial inclusion, Müllerian, Gärtner’s duct, and Skene’s duct. Distinction can be made on the basis of histology of the cyst lining, but inflammatory processes and metaplasia occurring within the lesion leads to destruction of the lining epithelium to make identification of its origin impossible. Paraurethral cysts have been reported in 1–6 % women, and most are urethral diverticulum. We report the case of an asymptomatic paraurethral cyst with calculi. …
