Zusammenfassung

Die epidemieartige, hohe Prävalenz der Akne von mehr als 85% bei Heranwachsenden „westlichen“ Lebensstils unterstreicht die Bedeutung von Ernährungsfaktoren. Insulinotrope Nahrungs- und Genussmittel, insbesondere Milch, Milchprodukte, Kohlenhydrate mit hohem glykämischem Index und Rauchen, führen zu pathologischen Überhöhungen bereits physiologisch gesteigerter Wachstumssignale der Pubertät. Nutritiv hochregulierte Wachstumsfaktoren aktivieren den onkogenen Phosphoinositol-3-Kinase/Akt-Signalweg, der die Transkriptionsaktivität des Androgenrezeptors steigert und FoxO1-supprimierte Zielgene der follikulären Keratinozytenproliferation und sebozytären Lipogenese enthemmt. Akne ist das sichtbare metabolische Syndrom der Haut durch übersteigerte Wachstumsfaktorsignale westlicher Fehlernährung. Diese Erkenntnis erlaubt eine neue Einordnung der Akne westlichen Lebensstils als Acne alimentaris und erfordert diätetische Intervention. Es sollten alle Anstrengungen unternommen werden, den insulinotropen Effektormechanismus der Milch zu eliminieren, um die Prävalenz der Akne und weiterer ernster konsekutiver Zivilisationskrankheiten mit überhöhter fehlernährungsbedingter onkogener Signaltransduktion zu vermindern.
