Fibromyalgia (FM) is a complex syndrome characterized by severe pain in the peripheral muscles, reducing the quality of life (QoL), muscle strength, flexibility, and exercise tolerance [14]. Most affected patients are women between 30 and 50 years of age, and fibromyalgia affects approximately 2.5% of people worldwide while 6 in 10 women in Brazil are diagnosed with the syndrome. …
