Risikofaktoren für einen riskanten Cannabiskonsum

Eine retrospektive Kohortenstudie mit 7671 Cannabisnutzern

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Der Cannabiskonsum ist in Deutschland weit verbreitet. Bisher ist wenig darüber bekannt, welche Faktoren bedeutsam für die Entwicklung eines riskanten Cannabiskonsums sind.

Methodik

Es wurde eine retrospektive Kohortenstudie realisiert. Über soziale Netzwerke wurden 7671 Cannabiskonsumenten (mittleres Alter = 21,8 Jahre, Standardabweichung (SD) = 4,5 Jahre) rekrutiert (59,3 % männlich). Endpunkt der Online-Untersuchung war riskanter Cannabiskonsum, welcher mit Cut-off >3 der Severity of Dependence Scale (SDS) angenommen wurde. Prädiktoren waren das Geschlecht, das Lebensalter, der Migrationshintergrund, „sensation seeking“, eine ADHS-Diagnose, das Erstkonsumalter sowie die Verbreitung des Cannabiskonsums in der Schulzeit. Zusätzlich wurden Merkmale des Elternhauses erhoben wie der sozioökonomischen Status, Erziehungsstil, die Beziehung zu den Eltern sowie die psychische Gesundheit der Eltern.

Ergebnisse

Insgesamt 29,7 % der Stichprobe konsumierte riskant Cannabis. Folgende Risikofaktoren sagten den riskanten Cannabiskonsum voraus: männliches Geschlecht (adjustiertes relatives Risiko [ARR]: 1,25), höheres Lebensalter (ARR: 1,01), das Vorhandenseins eines Migrationshintergrunds (ARR: 1,13), höheres „sensation seeking“ (ARR: 1,08), ein frühes Erstkonsumalter von Cannabis (ARR: 0,94), häufigerer Cannabiskonsum der Freunde in der Schulzeit (ARR: 1,21), instabilere Beziehung zu den Eltern (ARR: 0,97) und eine geringere psychische Gesundheit der Eltern (Vater: ARR: 0,98; Mutter: ARR: 0,96). Keine Zusammenhänge konnten im Hinblick auf das Vorhandensein einer ADHS-Diagnose, den sozioökonomischen Status und den Erziehungsstil gefunden werden.

Schlussfolgerung

Potenziell beeinflussbare Risikofaktoren für einen riskanten Cannabiskonsums sind die Beziehungsqualität im Elternhaus und der frühe Einstieg in den Cannabiskonsum.
