Zusammenfassung

Zur Behandlung von Kopfschmerzen sind medikamentöse Therapien nicht immer ausreichend wirksam oder können aus medizinischen Gründen nicht eingesetzt werden. Die psychologische Kopfschmerztherapie ist besonders bei chronischen Kopfschmerzen, einer hohen Beeinträchtigung der Patienten sowie als Ergänzung oder Alternative zur medikamentösen Behandlung sinnvoll.
