Zusammenfassung

Subjektiver Tinnitus ist mit einer Prävalenz zwischen 5 % und 15 % ein weit verbreitetes Phänomen. Betroffene können deutliche Einschränkungen der Lebensqualität erleben und tragen ein erhöhtes Risiko, komorbide psychische Störungen zu entwickeln. Eine interdisziplinäre Diagnostik und Behandlung unter Einbezug von Psychiatern, Neurologen und psychologischen Psychotherapeuten ist daher enorm wichtig. Das Behandlungsspektrum ist breit gefächert, wobei Verfahren wie kognitive Verhaltenstherapie, Neurofeedback-Methoden sowie neuromodulatorische Ansätze ein besonders innovatives Potenzial aufweisen.
