Zusammenfassung

Viele somatische Erkrankungen, zum Beispiel Diabetes mellitus oder Herz-Kreislauf- Erkrankungen, gehen mit einem erhöhten Risiko für depressive Symptome einher. Sportliche Aktivität kann sowohl die psychischen als auch die körperlichen Beschwerden positiv beeinflussen. Der folgende Artikel bietet einen Überblick zu pathophysiologischen Wechselwirkungen und den Effekten von Sporttherapie auf depressive Symptome bei körperlichen Grunderkrankungen.
