A 14- year-old girl who received a deceased donor kidney transplant secondary to focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) presented to clinic with a concern that she had not yet started puberty and had no secondary sexual characteristics. She also complained of hair thinning. Her past medical history was significant for stage 5 chronic kidney disease (CKD 5) secondary to steroid-resistant FSGS diagnosed by biopsy. She received her kidney transplant 6 years prior to presentation. There were no documented episodes of graft rejection in the post-transplant period. Her medications included tacrolimus, mycophenolate mofetil, prednisone, and somatropin for poor growth. Her mother had menarche at 10 years of age. …
