Präoperatives Management und Patientenschulung in der Fast-Track-Endoprothetik

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Präoperatives Management und Patienteninformation sind in der Fast-Track-Endoprothetik von zentraler Bedeutung. Die individuelle Risikostratifizierung mit Optimierung von präoperativen Risikofaktoren und eine präoperative Patientenschulung spielen hierbei eine wichtige Rolle.

Ziel der Arbeit

Es sollen präoperative Risikofaktoren diskutiert und Optimierungsansätze unter Einbeziehung der derzeitigen Evidenzlage dargestellt werden. Eigene Ergebnisse eines interdisziplinären Patientenseminars und einer Patienteninformations-App sollen diskutiert werden.

Material und Methoden

Neben der Darstellung des eigenen Vorgehens zum präoperativen Patientenmanagement und Durchführung der Patienteninformation mit Patientenseminar und App werden die wesentlichen Arbeiten aus der Literatur zum Thema diskutiert.

Ergebnisse

Präoperative Risikofaktoren (Diabetes, Adipositas, Anämie etc.) bergen die Gefahr eines verlängerten stationären Aufenthaltes und erhöhter Morbidität und Mortalität. Die präoperative Optimierung kann das Komplikationsrisiko und ein Scheitern des Fast-Track-Pfades minimieren. Patientenseminar und Patienteninformations-Apps tragen zu einer Reduktion von Ängsten und Schmerzmittelverbrauch bei.

Diskussion

Ein gutes präoperatives Management in der Fast-Track-Endoprothetik kann das Risiko von Komplikationen und eines verlängerten stationären Aufenthaltes reduzieren. Eine umfassende Patientenschulung mit Patientenseminar und App trägt dazu bei den Patienten optimal auf den operativen Eingriff vorzubereiten.
