Skelettveränderungen bei hämatologischen Systemerkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Das Knochenmark besteht aus Bindegewebe und Stammzellen, welche der Blutbildung dienen. Dies beinhaltet u. a. die Erythropoese, die Leukopoese und die Thrombopoese. Daher wirken sich hämatologische Erkrankungen zunächst im Knochenmark und sekundär im Blut aus.

Methoden

Die Veränderungen des Knochenmarks können sensitiv in der Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT) detektiert werden und stellen häufig die Erstmanifestation der zugrunde liegenden Krankheit dar. Bei längerer Erkrankungsdauer sind auch Veränderungen in der Röntgenaufnahme bzw. in der Computertomographie (CT) zu finden.

Ergebnisse

Der Befund ist bei den genannten Bildgebungsmethoden häufig unspezifisch und nur im Kontext mit den klinischen Informationen zu interpretieren.

Schlussfolgerung

Im folgenden Artikel soll eine kurze Übersicht über die Klinik und die zu erwartenden bildgebenden Veränderungen bei Leukämien, Anämien und chronischen myeloproliferativen Erkrankungen gegeben werden.
