Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Allergien sind häufig, fast 30 % der deutschen Bevölkerung sind betroffen. Die spezifische Sensibilisierung gegen ein Allergen verläuft asymptomatisch. Bei erneutem Allergenkontakt weisen die Symptome auf den Pathomechanismus hin. Es stehen zahlreiche unterschiedliche Testverfahren für allergische Reaktionen zur Verfügung.

Fragestellung und Ziel

In dieser Übersichtsarbeit werden die typischen klinischen Symptome allergischer Reaktionen den Mechanismen zugeordnet und mögliche Testmethoden vorgestellt und diskutiert. Aktuelle Entwicklungen der rekombinanten Serumdiagnostik und zellulären Testverfahren werden vorgestellt.
