Differenzierte operative Therapie der männlichen Belastungsharninkontinenz – zwischen Wunsch und Wirklichkeit?

Zusammenfassung

Die differenzierte operative Therapie der männlichen Belastungsharninkontinenz ist ein äußerst interessantes und z. T. kontrovers diskutiertes Themengebiet. Die gegenwärtig am häufigsten durchgeführten Operationen sind Bandsuspensionen, adjustierbare Harninkontinenzsysteme sowie der artifizielle Harnröhrensphinkter. Die Evidenz für die jeweiligen Verfahren ist unterschiedlich und es mangelt aktuell an prospektiven vergleichenden Studien. Die anspruchsvolle Frage lautet nun: Von welchem operativen Verfahren profitiert der Betroffene am meisten? Der folgende Artikel soll einen Überblick über die einzelnen operativen Möglichkeiten und einen konstruktiven Versuch einer Indikationsabgrenzung geben.
