Zusammenfassung

Die Koronarangiographie stellt nach wie vor den Goldstandard in der Diagnose der koronaren Herzerkrankung dar. Sie vereint sowohl die anatomische als auch die funktionelle Diagnostik mit der Option zur zeitgleichen Therapie. Die Indikation zur Koronarangiographie ist im Wesentlichen abhängig von klinischen Umständen, der Vortestwahrscheinlichkeit und den Ergebnissen nichtinvasiver Voruntersuchungen. Kombiniert werden kann sie mit anderen Verfahren wie der Messung der fraktionellen Flussreserve (FFR) oder intravaskulären bildgebenden Verfahren mithilfe von Ultraschall („intravascular imaging by ultrasound“, IVUS) bzw. optischer Kohärenztomographie (OCT). Zusammen vervollständigen diese das diagnostische Portfolio im Rahmen der Koronarangiographie.
