We would like to thank the authors for the letters to the Editor to argue about the culture methods used in our study. The understanding of disc degeneration is complex, but recently the literature opens new perspectives. Indeed, infection could be the origin of disc degeneration as reported in some papers. Obviously the hypothesis depends on the growing technique. …
