A 67-year-old woman developed complete scalp alopecia following chemotherapy with cyclophosphamide, bortezomib and prednisone for multiple myeloma, as well as following bone marrow conditioning with melphalan. Additionally, she developed pityriasis amiantacea following treatment with melphalan, which was used as a bone marrow conditioning regimen [dosages, routes and duration of treatments to reactions onsets not stated]. …

As specific drug causing alopecia was not specified, we have considered cyclophosphamide, bortezomib, prednisone and melphalan as suspects.
