Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Die kardiopulmonale Reanimation (CPR) ist ein häufig vorkommendes Ereignis. Vielfach sind, v. a. im außerklinischen Bereich, Angehörige während der CPR anwesend.

Fragestellung

Was ist die Einstellung professioneller Helfer zur Anwesenheit von Angehörigen bei der CPR? Welche Erkenntnisse liegen hinsichtlich der Auswirkungen der Anwesenheit während der CPR auf Angehörige und Teamperformance vor?

Methode

Narratives Literaturreview.

Ergebnisse

Die Anwesenheit von Angehörigen während der CPR wird von professionellen Helfern überwiegend kritisch gesehen. Es werden psychologisch negative Auswirkungen bei den Angehörigen und negative Auswirkungen auf die CPR-Performance befürchtet. Die Anwesenheit während der CPR wird von Angehörigen zumeist als positives Ereignis erlebt und scheint keine negativen Auswirkungen auf klinische Parameter wie Angst, Depression und posttraumatische Stresssymptome zu haben.

Schlussfolgerungen

Angehörige sollten die Möglichkeit erhalten, darüber zu entscheiden, ob sie während einer CPR anwesend sein wollen oder nicht. Spezifische Rahmenbedingungen müssen jedoch erfüllt sein.
