Because postoperative pancreatic fistula (POPF) is one of the most significant underlying factors affecting postoperative outcomes in pancreatic surgery, numerous surgeons have tried to decrease the POPF rate.
1 It is crucial to reduce complications related to POPF following pancreatic surgery, accurately predict the occurrence of POPF, and identify high-risk patients. Consequently, several prediction models have been developed and implemented in clinical practice.
