Zusammenfassung

Autoinflammatorische Syndrome (AIS) sind seltene Erkrankungen, die mit einer überschießenden Aktivierung des angeborenen Immunsystems einhergehen. Bei den AIS sind Hautsymptome häufig. Da im Gegensatz zu den Autoimmunerkrankungen keine spezifischen Autoantikörper oder autoreaktive Zellen auftreten, ist die Diagnose schwierig und kann nur durch eine gute Zusammenschau von anamnestischen Angaben, klinischem Bild und labordiagnostischen Parametern erfolgen. Bei einigen hereditären AIS sind typische Genmutationen beschrieben und diagnostisch hilfreich. Therapeutisch werden sowohl klassische immunmodulierende Medikamente als auch spezifische Blockaden einzelner Zytokine, insbesondere des Interleukin‑1 (IL-1), eingesetzt. Im Normalfall ist eine langfristige Therapie erforderlich.
