Staging systems in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are critically important to stratify the patients according to prognostic variables and to guide the available therapeutic approach for best survival. Although there are more than 15 scoring system and some of them are more common than other, there is not any consensus on best scoring strategy for HCC [1]. Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancers (BCLC) staging system is one of the most widely used scores in Europe and many other countries since 1999 [2]. …
