Bedeutung der Neurobiologie für die modulare Psychotherapie

Zusammenfassung

Im Zuge der Neufassung der Weiterbildung für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie kommt der modular ausgerichteten Psychotherapie eine wichtige Bedeutung zu. Hierbei haben insbesondere allgemeine Interventionen wie z. B. zur Emotionsregulation eine wichtige Funktion. In dieser Übersicht soll anhand einiger Beispiele die Bedeutung der Neurobiologie zum Verständnis und zur Verbesserung solcher für die modulare Psychotherapie wichtigen Mechanismen veranschaulicht werden. Daneben wird der Einsatz neurobiologischer Untersuchungen im Rahmen klassischer Psychotherapiestudien am Beispiel der Borderline-Störung und der posttraumatischen Belastungsstörung dargestellt.
