Taphonomy is a well-established part of forensic science that deals with the actions and processes that impact upon organisms from the time of their death until their discovery [1]. Forensic taphonomy deals with the recovery and preservation of remains, and the reconstruction of their lives and circumstances of death [2]. As a part of this process in humans the stages of transition from a fresh corpse to skeletonized dust have been extensively investigated. …
