Carbon monoxide (CO) is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, and non-irritating gas that is due to the incomplete combustion of carbon-borne fuels [ 1]. Cases of CO poisoning are common in Turkey because of social, economic, and climatic reasons. Carbon monoxide is also an important agent in the world of poisoning-related deaths [ 2, 3]. Poisoning symptoms are predominant in the cardiovascular, respiratory, and neuropsychiatric systems, whereas the genitourinary and gastrointestinal systems are rarely affected [ 4]. Here, we report the case of a patient with upper gastrointestinal bleeding after CO poisoning, which has not been published before in the literature. …
