Zusammenfassung

In diesem CME-Fortbildungsbeitrag wird ein Überblick über das chemische Peeling vermittelt. Die molekularen Grundlagen einiger ausgewählter Indikationen werden erläutert und die jeweils zutreffenden Grundvoraussetzungen, Vorsichtsmaßnahmen sowie mögliche Komplikationen diskutiert. Ferner werden einzelne verfügbare oberflächliche Peelingsubstanzen vorgestellt, und der prinzipielle Ablauf einer chemischen Peelingbehandlung wird umrissen.
