Zusammenfassung

Bei chronisch-entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen werden zur Bildgebung in erster Linie endoskopische Techniken sowie Ultraschall (US), Computertomographie (CT) und Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT) eingesetzt. Bei der CT und bei konventionellen Röntgenverfahren ist die Strahlenbelastung zu beachten. Vor allem Ultraschall und MRT haben die Routinediagnostik von Darmerkrankungen verändert. Mit US, CT und MRT werden nicht nur das Lumen, sondern auch die Wand und die umgebenden Strukturen des Magen-Darm-Trakts beurteilt. Darüber hinaus können funktionelle Prozesse visualisiert werden, was wichtige Informationen über Passage und Perfusion liefert, vor allem bei Anwendung der Echtzeittechnik Ultraschall. CT und MRT werden in der Regel mit Kontrastmittelanwendung durchgeführt („contrast-enhanced“ CT [CECT] und MRT [CEMRT]). Die Sonographie wird primär konventionell als B‑Bild- und Farbdopplersonographie genutzt. Die intravasale und/oder extravasale intrakavitäre Kontrastmittelanwendung („contrast-enhanced ultrasound“ [CEUS]) erfolgt bei bestimmten Indikationen. Der vorliegende Beitrag diskutiert den Einsatz der angesprochenen bildgebenden Verfahren.
