Auch wenn eine TKI-Therapie bei der CML insgesamt große Erfolge erzielen kann, gibt es maligne Zellpopulationen, die sich dem Zugriff der TKI entziehen. Dazu zählen Leukämiezellen mit Stammzelleigenschaften. Hier liefern wir eine kurze Übersicht, welche Targets und Strategien derzeit untersucht werden, um diese Leukämiestammzellen eliminieren zu können.
