Hernia, Teng’s study [
1] aimed to examine the relationship between the thickness of subcutaneous fat (TSF) and the risk of postoperative seroma, as seroma formation is the most common cause of morbidity associated with laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair. Based on multivariate analysis, they found that a greater TSF was independently associated with a greater risk of postoperative seroma, and similar results were obtained in the subgroup analysis.
