Aktuelles zur ambulanten Trainings- und Bewegungstherapie bei COPD

Zusammenfassung

Körperliches Training ist der Eckpfeiler der nichtmedikamentösen Therapie der chronischen obstruktiven Lungenerkrankung (COPD). In diesem Artikel soll ein Überblick über die aktuellen Ergebnisse, Trends und Problemstellungen beim Training mit COPD-Patienten gegeben werden. Mit dem Ganzkörpervibrationstraining ist eine neue Trainingsart auf dem Vormarsch. Auch ein sensomotorisches Krafttraining scheint gerade für COPD-Patienten Vorteile zu bieten. Der umfassende Ansatz der ambulanten pneumologischen Rehabilitation hat nicht nur Auswirkungen auf Lungenfunktionsparameter, sondern auch auf die Wiederaufnahmefrequenz bei COPD-Patienten nach akuter Exazerbation. Internetbasierte Trainingsmodule oder -ergänzungen sind interessante Trends, ebenso wie die Erfassung von körperlicher Aktivität mittels spezieller Monitorsysteme. Letztere geben dem betreuenden Therapeuten die Möglichkeit, die Auswirkungen von sportlichen Interventionen, medikamentösen Therapien oder Verschlechterungen der pulmonalen Situation auf die körperliche Aktivität zu überwachen.
