Since December 2019 when the novel coronavirus, currently named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), outbreak has been described in Wuhan, Hubei region, China, the situation has dramatically evolved [1‐4]. The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently declared coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) a public health emergency of international concern [5].
