COVID-19 is an infectious disease that attacks the respiratory system [
1] first reported in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019. It has since spread globally, resulting in a full-scale pandemic. On January 30th, 2020, the World Health Organization classified the outbreak as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern. As a result, governments around the globe have implemented drastic measures in an attempt to limit the burden on local healthcare systems.
