Battle: Operationsindikation beim Hip-Spine-Syndrom – Die Hüfte oder die Wirbelsäule zuerst?

Zusammenfassung

Es bestehen anatomisch-physiologische Interaktionen in einer gegenseitigen Wechselbeziehung der funktionellen Anatomie der Wirbelsäule mit der dreidimensional räumlichen Orientierung des Beckens, des Hüftgelenkes und der gesamten unteren Extremität. Oft liegen Pathologien dieser Organe gleichzeitig vor. Die Herausforderung an den Arzt ist es, zu definieren, welche der Pathologien für den Patienten in Bezug auf die klinische Symptomatik am relevantesten ist und welches Organ zuerst therapiert werden soll. Diese Übersichtsarbeit soll dem behandelnden Arzt das Behandlungsdilemma des Hip-Spine-Syndroms verdeutlichen. Ferner wird in dieser Arbeit aufgezeigt, warum die Pathologie der Wirbelsäule auf keinen Fall außer Acht gelassen werden darf.
