To the Editor: Paroxysmal and stereotyped crying with preserved consciousness is a rare and unique clinical presentation of an epileptic seizure, occurring with an estimated frequency of 0.1% to 0.13% and rarely, it occurs as an isolated clinical feature [1, 2].
