Zusammenfassung

Im Gegensatz zu anderen Lokalisationen treten Osteoidosteome vergleichsweise selten intra- oder periartikulär auf. Eine vergesellschaftete reaktive Begleitarthritis kann bei verzögerter Diagnostik zu einer irreversiblen Destruktion des Gelenkknorpels führen. Daher ist die frühzeitige Diagnosestellung und Therapie in diesen Fällen bedeutend. Anhand eines Fallberichtes werden die Besonderheiten dieses seltenen Krankheitsbildes erörtert und eine Übersicht über die aktuelle wissenschaftliche Literatur präsentiert.
