Zusammenfassung

Die atopische Dermatitis gehört zu den häufigsten chronisch-entzündlichen Hauterkrankungen. Sie steht im Verdacht, andere Erkrankungen zu begünstigen — darunter kardiovaskuläre Ereignisse, chronisch-entzündliche Darmerkrankungen oder Infektionskrankheiten. Ein Zusammenhang ist aber nicht in allen Fällen eindeutig belegt.

Infektionen mit Herpes-simplex-Virus Typ 2

Durch die schmerzhaften genitalen Läsionen und häufigen Rezidive ist die Infektion mit Herpes-simplex-Virus Typ 2 eine stark belastende Erkrankung. Vor allem Risikogruppen wie Schwangere und Immunsupprimiert sind für schwere Verläufe gefährdet. Die Diagnose sicher zu stellen und rechtzeitig die passende Therapie einzuleiten, ist deshalb wichtig – insbesondere, da noch keine Impfung existiert.

Dermatomykosen - aktuelles Erregerspektrum und Therapie

Mykosen der Haut gehören zu den häufigsten Infektionen in der hautärztlichen Praxis. Da alle Pilzinfektionen eine spezifische Ursache haben, sind sie stets heilbar und eine dankbare Aufgabe im ärztlichen Alltag – denn noch nie waren die Möglichkeiten, eine Mykose zu diagnostizieren und zu heilen, so exzellent wie heute.

Aktuelles zur photodynamischen Therapie

CME: 2 Punkte

Die photodynamische Therapie basiert auf der dynamischen Wechselwirkung von drei Komponenten: einem Photosensibilisator, der Lichtenergie und molekularem Sauerstoff. Deren Zusammenspiel schädigt das Zielgewebe und aktiviert gleichzeitig immunmodulierende Prozesse. Dementsprechend wird die minimalinvasive Behandlungsmethode vielfältig eingesetzt – von onkologischen Erkrankungen bis hin zu off-label Indikationen wie der Hautverjüngung.

Psoriasis: eine Systemerkrankung mit multiplen Behandlungsoptionen – Biologika

Für die Therapie der Psoriasis wurden im letzten Jahrzehnt zahlreiche neue Medikamente zugelassen. Zwischen den verschiedenen Lokal- und Systemtherapeutika wird es allerdings zunehmend schwieriger, das richtige Behandlungsregime auszuwählen.
