Sport und Bewegungstherapie bei entzündlich rheumatischen Erkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Die physikalische Therapie stellt neben einer gezielten medikamentösen Therapie seit jeher eine Säule der Behandlung entzündlich rheumatischer Erkrankungen dar, ist aber bisher nur bei wenigen Erkrankungen in den Behandlungsleitlinien etabliert. Innerhalb der letzten 2 Jahrzehnte konnten durch die Entdeckung der Myokine die physiologischen Zusammenhänge von antiinflammatorischer Wirkung und sportlicher Betätigung aufgedeckt werden. Für die rheumatoide Arthritis und die Spondyloarthritiden liefern mehrere randomisiert kontrollierte Studien eine ausreichende Evidenz, um fundierte Empfehlungen geben zu können. Für die Kollagenosen ist die Datenlage deutlich spärlicher, zeigt aber dennoch, dass die positiven Effekte durch Bewegungstherapie überwiegen. In dem folgenden Beitrag stellen die Autoren die wichtigsten Studien zum Thema Sport bei entzündlich rheumatischen Erkrankungen vor und leiten daraus mögliche therapeutische Empfehlungen ab.
