Die Prävalenz der Molaren-Inzisiven-Hypomineralisation (MIH) zeigt eine steigende Tendenz. Die Therapie, vor allem schwerer Fälle mit vorliegender Hypersensitivität und großflächiger Fehlbildung, stellt oft eine große Herausforderung dar, weshalb die Kenntnis der MIH-Schweregradeinteilung sowie der daran angepassten Therapieziele und -optionen für den Familienzahnarzt von Bedeutung sind.
