Osteoporosis affects 7 out of 100 men older than 50 years old. Secondary osteoporosis is also more prevalent in men than women. Unfortunately, men with osteoporosis also have a higher mortality than women after a fracture, and medication adherence and undertreatment are thought to be a factor [
1]. Globally and also here in the Philippines, osteoporosis in men remains an overlooked problem [
2]. Here, we share the current status and the challenges in preventing and managing this disease among Filipino men. …
