Bei rezidivierenden Fieberschüben ohne Infektionsnachweis ist auch an eine autoinflammatorische Erkrankung zu denken. Neben dem Fieber können auch Haut- und Schleimhautbefunde sowie mögliche Lungen-, Gefäß- und knöcherne Manifestationen diagnostisch verwertbare Hinweise auf die Art der immunologischen Störung geben. In dieser Arbeit werden klinische, immunologische und genetische Aspekte autoinflammatorischer Erkrankungen dargestellt und Entscheidungshilfen geboten.
