Zusammenfassung

Kognitive Störungen bei Patienten mit Depressionen sind häufig. Sie treten bereits zu Beginn der Erkrankung auf, persistieren auch nach Remission der affektiven Symptome und sind wichtiger Prädiktor für das psychosoziale Leistungsniveau. In der klinischen Praxis sollten sowohl die subjektiv wahrgenommenen Defizite erfragt, als auch die tatsächliche kognitive Leistungsfähigkeit mittels standardisierter Diagnostik erfasst werden. In der Behandlung haben sich neuropsychologische Verfahren der kognitiven Remediation, psychopharmakologisch SSRIs („selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors“) sowie Vortioxetin und neuromodulatorisch die repetitive transkranielle Magnetstimulation als wirksam erwiesen.
