Hornhautveränderungen bei Liderkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Hornhautveränderungen bei Liderkrankungen sind häufig und können den Krankheitsverlauf erheblich komplizieren. Sie können sich als Refraktionsanomalien, Hornhautdegenerationen, Erkrankungen der Augenoberfläche, Hornhautinfiltrate, Hornhautvaskularisationen und Hornhautulzerationen bis hin zur Hornhautperforation manifestieren. Pathophysiologisch sind Druckkräfte, Exposition, Trichiasis und Distichiasis, Augenreiben, Entzündung und Infektion bedeutsam. Eine Vielzahl von Liderkrankungen geht mit Erkrankungen der Hornhaut einher wie Lidfehlstellungen, Lidtumoren, Lidinfektionen, die allergische Liddermatitis und Blepharitis, Meibomitis oder Meibom-Drüsen-Dysfunktion.
