Zusammenfassung

Das Ziel der aktuellen Übersichtsarbeit ist, das Interesse der Dermatologen für die faszinierende Mikrowelt der neonatalen Dermatologie durch die folgenden Themenbereiche zu wecken: (1) Besonderheiten der Hautbarriere bei reifen Neugeborenen und Frühgeborenen – Konsequenzen für die Klinik und Hautpflege; (2) „Ein Neugeborenes mit rötlichen Effloreszenzen im Gesicht“ als Beispiel für die Altersspezifität der Differenzialdiagnosen und Vorgehensweisen.
