Zusammenfassung

Die Abklärung der Mikrohämaturie ist unverändert ein wichtiges, jedoch in der notwendigen Intensität unverändert unscharf definiertes Aufgabenfeld des Urologen. In der aktualisierten Version des Kapitels werden deshalb beispielhaft wesentliche Kernaussagen der Leitlinien der verschiedenen nationalen Fachgesellschaften zur Abklärung der Mikrohämaturie aufgeführt. Sie zeigen die Variabilität der notwendigen Untersuchungen. Aber gerade die qualitativ hochwertige S3-Leitlinie der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Urologie zur Diagnostik und Therapie des Blasenkarzinoms und die Leitlinie der Allgemeinmediziner zur Abklärung der Mikrohämaturie geben einen wichtigen Rahmen vor, den der Urologe im Sinne seiner Patienten, aber auch im Rahmen zunehmend versicherungsrechtlicher Auseinandersetzungen kennen sollte. Ein wesentliches Element der täglichen urologischen Untersuchung ist die mikroskopische Urinuntersuchung.
